“Studying Philosophy Politics and Economics at the University of Reading has been a wonderful and unbelievable experience. As I am nearing the end of my second year, the classes are more demanding and interesting than ever. One class in particular is called media and politics, the class revolves around the way

media presents political issues as we focus on numerous media theories,
we also get to experience the more practical side of media as we met and interviewed members of British parliament and BBC journalists. We were also given the opportunity to record and produce our own podcast show on a topic of our choice as a part of the course. I also started to volunteer at a local school as a teaching assistant, a part of my responsibilities is to provide one-on- one language support to students who do not speak English. Studying abroad is a life-changing experience that allowed me to develop critical skills and gain my independence.”
